I AM BACK AFTER AN OVERSEAS TRIP

I haven’t posted in a few weeks because I was traveling. I just returned from a 3 week trip to Istanbul, Turkey and Kolkata and Mumbai, India. As usual, the highlight of the trip was all the wonderful, exotic foods that I had. Here are a few pictures of the best things I ate. In the coming days, I will try to recreate these. Stay tuned.

I am a full time professional and part-time cook. I realized my passion for cooking later in life. While in graduate school, I started cooking to satisfy my cravings for restaurant quality food on a budget.Over the years I have honed my culinary skills and entertained family and friends with my cooking. I am an avid traveler and have visited many places around the world. I love trying new foods while traveling and later recreating them in my own kitchen to relive the memories of my trips. I named my blog after our favorite pet Bichon who loves to eat and will gulp down anything and everything and leave a clean plate.
